Helene DuBon Hyde  

(1899-1988)

Helene DuBon Hyde was born January 2, 1899. She was also known as Helene DuBon and Helen D. Hyde. Hyde studied at Pratt Institute and at the Art Student’s League with Robert Henri, Irving Wiles, and George Bridgman. She studied in France with William Merritt Chase and later painted in Maine with Marsden Hartley. She exhibited at Allied Artists of America, Metropolitan Galleries, Audubon Artists, and the Nassau Arts League. She lived and worked in New York City until her death on October 14, 1988.
