George Stimmel
(1880-1964)
George Stimmel was born in New York in 1880. He was a painter, illustrator, and printmaker who was well-known for his impressionist landscapes and his etchings of social realism. He studied at the Pennsylvania Academy, and was a member of Salons of America. His works were exhibited at the Salmagundi Club, and Salons of America. He died in 1964.
