Charles Schlein
(1900-1988)
Charles Schlein was born in Russia in 1899. He was a painter, illustrator, printmaker, and sculptor. He studied at the Art Students League of New York, and was a member of Allied Artists of America and Salons of America. His works have been exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery Biennial, the National Academy of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy, and Salons of America. He died in Los Angeles, California in 1988.
