James Carlin

(1906-2005)

James Carlin was born in Belfast, Ireland in 1906. He was a painter and printmaker well-known for his landscapes and harbor scenes. He was a member of the American Watercolor Society, Audubon Artists, and the Salmagundi Club. His works have been in exhibitions at Allied Artists of America, American Watercolor Society, Audubon Artists, the Brooklyn Museum, the Metropolitan Museum New York, the National Academy of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy, and the Salmagundi Club. He died in Nutley, New Jersey in 2005.
