Johnstone Baird

(1880-1935)

Baird was born in Ayrshire in 1880. He was a painter and etcher of landscapes and architectural views who flourished in the 1920s and 30s. Baird studied at the Glasgow School of Art and was a Naval architect with the Admiralty 1917-19. He is listed in "British Prints Dictionary and Price Guide." He died in 1935.
