Guy Thiant

Guy Thiant is a French painter and an art educator who was born in 1931. He has received numerous awards, including the Silver Medal of the city of Paris in 1960; the Medal of the general council of the county Seine in 1963; the Silver Medal of the city of Vincennes in 1966; the Gold Medal from the Salon of French Artists in 1967; the Gold Medal for still life – Cannes in 1996; the first big prize for all categories of painting – International Exhibition of Lyon in 2000; and the Prize of “Terrior Français” in Blois in 2006.
