Herman Rose  

(1909-2007)

Herman Rose was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1909. He was a painter who was well-known for his modern depictions of urban landscapes. He studied at the Art Students League of New York, and the National Academy of Deign. His works have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art New York, the Pennsylvania Academy, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. He died in 2007.
