Paula Fenske

(b. 1882)

Paula Fenske was a painter and craftsperson born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1882.She studied at Washington University’s St. Louis School of Fine Arts. She painted under the tutelage of Kathryn E. Cherry, Henry Snell, Sigurd Skow, and Ernest Thurn. Fenske’s works have been included in exhibits held at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the National Association of Women Artists, Kansas City Art Institute, St. Louis Art Guild, and the City Art Museum of St. Louis. Her works are also included in the collection of Lindenwood University in St. Charles. Paula Fenske is listed in Who Was Who in American Art.
