Robert Kipniss
(b. 1931)
Robert Kipniss was born in New York City in 1931. He is a painter and printmaker, well-known for his monochromatic works. He studied at the Art Students League of New York, and is a member of the National Academy of Design and Silvermine Art Colony. His works have been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art and Silvermine Artists Guild, among many other galleries and museums. His works are in the collection of numerous North American and European Institutions.
