Miriam Smith Peck attended Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Institute of Art where she graduated in 1933. Peck continued to be active in Ohio, exhibiting at The Cleveland Museum of Art and the Butler Art Institute in Youngstown. She is also a well-known jewelry maker.
