(1911-1984)
Edward Landon was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1911. He was a painter, sculptor, illustrator, and printmaker who was well-known for his murals and abstract works. He studied at the Art Students League of New York, and was a member of the Society of Independent Artists. He also participated in the WPA/ Federal Arts Projects. His works were exhibited at the Society of independent Artists. He won the Fulbright Grant Fellowship Award, and died in Hartford in 1984.
